Having lived in Ealing for over 35 years, she was a regular visitor of a dear friend at St David’s Home for Disabled Soldier’s Sailors and Airmen. Subsequently she served on the Board from 2020, during the challenges of the global pandemic, and later supported them through the process of the sale of the home in 2024.
She feels privileged to have played a part in supporting the care home through to its conclusion and is delighted to support the newly formed charity, St David’s (1918) Charitable Trust in 2023, onto its next chapter.
